A Little Piece of History
The original Reading Room building is believed to have been built in 1898 by the Rev. William James Earle M.A and his family, in memory of his wife and in commemoration of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee and was originally known as the Jubilee Reading Room. For a period of time you could borrow and return your library books there.Improvements
